So how is everything in your world? Today my world is a little topsy tervy  ( no idea on the spelling) but today is better than Sweet Apples day was yesterday. Yesterday was a sleep over for my Grand Kids and one can never know what to expect from them. We are setting at the table doing home work and Sarah comes flying out of the bed room screaming Daddy, Daddy, something is wrong with Sweet Apple, come quick. So we all go flying in to the bedroom (well not all of us fly, some are slower than others) and there is Sweet Apple flat on her back all four legs in the air and her head going back and forth. Now  Sarah is hectically yelling, do something Daddy do something and he dose. He picks Sweet Apple up and turns her over and set her down and off she walks. Another problem solved in my world. Now for the fun stuff, I made another ATCard, I don’t have it any more someone has already scooped it up but I did get a picture, so I will share it with you.

Today is one of those days, yes even in my world there are bad days. Not really bad days just one of those, you know when the world is just not quite right and there isn’t much you can do about except wait for tomorrow. I could tell you why it is not the best day but then I would have to listen to all your problems also and even that seems like to much work, so when I need a laugh I can always depend upon my Zoo for that. So meet Peanut and Gracie, now one set of ears looking at you when come out of the restroom is one thing and worth a good laugh but two sets of them is enough to brighten any day in any body’s world. So if maybe your world is having one of them days, this should help. Anyway I hope so, so now your world has been invaded by the Radar Girls. Talk about ears, I bet those ears could pick up a signal from Mars.

So have a nice day and laugh, it always helps.

If your Labor Day was as nice as mine then we will all go to bed tonight happy, safe and full.  My brother Guy and his wife Judy had a barbecue today in their backyard and believe it or not we actually beat the rain. Great food  and Guy I hear that the pulled pork was top notch but not being a pork person myself I will have to take my sons word that is was very good. For me the day was especially nice since I spend a lot of time out west I miss out on a lot of fun times. Besides having a chance to see my brothers and sisters and their kids an artist trading card center was set up in the middle of my brothers dinning room. Unfortunately for my sister in law Judy the crowd kinda spilled over into her kitchen (you may recall that I have 9 brothers and sisters so anytime we get together in one spot it is a crowd)  but much to her credit she managed to pull off a superb meal. Back to the trading center, trading was hot and heavy and after getting the pecking order right I came away with some very nice cards. You see with that many people, first come first served,  and this being the first trade  as soon as word gets around the next time you will have to take a number. Topping the day off, after coming back to my sons house I made book covers for my grand kids school books. All and all it was a great day in my world.

PS Bad note, took my camera and forgot to take pictures. Oh well next time.

Everyone that knows me knows that I am a word game freek so when It comes to Bookworm I am out of control and since I have no one yelling at me to go to bed at 3:00am I can become obsessed. Now I think I have meet someone who is worse than me, now Dick from Dropdeaddick.com has thrown down the gauntlet and if it take forever to beat that obscene score, I will.  Look out, I will  forever be in his rear view mirror. Be weary Dick, be very weary.

My Granddaughter Sarah had her first acting job in a play called Metaphasia , I myself thought she was brilliant but I might be just a tad  prejudicial  being her Grandma and all. Anyway after the play her father thought it would be nice to put together a shadowbox with all the stuff she had connected to the play. They all got Tee shirts with the name of the play on the front, so they could wear them  when ever they got together to rehearse, so after the play was over they  autographed each others Tee shirts. She had her script, the program ,tickets, a red rose and her Tee shirt and we all agreed it would make a good shadowbox, so off to JoAnn Fabric  to get one. Now I have never done a shadowbox before and after several hour of bickering over how the shirt should  be placed, signatures  showing or not. Dad was for the signatures showing, but Sarah, man she knew what she wanted just the front with the name of the play on it. After much pining and unpinning we got it just right for her.  She is very proud of it and we are very proud of her. Now you may laugh at our little shadowbox but just remember that when it is on ebay one of these day being sold for bu-cue  bucks because she is so famous, that you knew it before it was worth so much and  was just a little shadowbox.

Every body knows that I love the art of rubber stamping and have been doing it for years, you also probably know that The House Mouse rubber stamps are without a doubt my favorite stamps. Now every time I buy a stamp I say to my self, “Self” you do not need any more rubber stamps and then I am really good for about 40 seconds ( you know those abdications, can’t help it, got to have it, everybody else has it, I could borrow it no I hate borrowing cause everybody says I hate when she borrows stuff if she wants  to make a card using it she should buy it, you get the idea) so as you can guess I bought a few stamps this summer. So  to justfie buying more stamps I present to you my latest hand made card . You could do an Easter card but in my heart of  hearts I know it is a new baby card  and I know someone who is having a baby. Now if I can only find a good reason for  buying the rest of the stamps. Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

During  the last few days I have learned a lot about our newest Zoo member, our Russian Tortoise, I learned that she can eat non stop and devour a bag of mixed greens in less than a week, I learned that she loves to set in her food bowl while she eats and I have learned that she is not above using her food bowl as a bathroom and finds no embarrassment in doing so but the main thing I have learned is that Tortoise Poop is just like any other animal poop on the face of the earth, Brown. If you check back in my past posts, you will see  that what I thought was poop and looked like white putty is, I don’t know. I know what it is not, it is not poop because since she chooses to use her food bowl as her bathroom daily, I can unequivocally tell you Tortoise Poop is not white. Now you may wonder why I even care, I don’t! I just need to admit to my mistake, which for me is hard to do!!! Like my brother Bud says ” I am never wrong, I thought I was one time but then found out I was mistaken.”

Friends come and friends go, the ones that stay around through the good times and the bad time, the ones who you can disagree with vehemently and after a day, a week, a month (you get the idea) are drawn back to each other no mater what was said or done, those are the friends you hold onto for dear life. So to my friend JoAnn whom I have called friend for twenty six years, life can sometimes be rough and lately it has decided that it is your time to be picked on.  We have all been there, so I say to you, it will get better. Now having said this, remember all the fun and goofy things we have said and done during our friendship, well I want you to because I am going to post one of my favorite photos of you. You looked so happy and to be fair I am going post one of me that was taken at the same time. I know you are going to say couldn’t you find a better photo and I say “No”, we were having a blast and look how happy you looked. So this is my friend JoAnn, who I miss very much. Get well soon and I will see you soon.

Told you it was an addiction, the Artist Trading cards I mean, I only needed to make two to give back to my sister Connie but of course anyone that knows me knows that I have reached double digits by now and still going. Just for fun I thought I would show you a couple of them but mostly I am sending them to my Stamping Group. Hope you enjoy them.

So I thought I would introduce you to my family, it is not often that we all end up in the same place at the same time, there are a few of us. Anyways my niece graduated from high school and we were all there, so when ever that happens we try to take a photo and like I said getting us all together and standing still long enough to take pictures is not an easy chore. As the party was winding down and most people had left someone suggested taking pictures.  Now you know that by that time we were all very HAPPY and after several photos we started getting silly and wouldn’t you know that that is the one I like best. Why? Because that is us, not the posed stuff. So family I apologize in advance for this but I can’t help it. To my sister Connie I am truly sorry  for the hand in the face! You know it was an accident. So here goes, from left to right, my twin sisters Leah & Laurie, my sisters Dawn, Cheryl, Connie and of course me, in the front row my brothers Kevin, Guy, Raymond and Bud.
