Giant dust storm, also known as an Haboob. My son asked me why they called it an Haboob, told him that the name came from Africa but this is not Africa he says. Like I told him his name was Bill and it would still be Bill if he was in Africa. Haboob is a giant dust storm in Africa and an Haboob is a giant dust storm in Arizona and boy did we have one today!!!!

Why oh why dose this happen to me every time I try to write on this blog? Never has anything that should be so simple became such a chore!! Every time I try to write on this blog I end up having to redo the whole Pass Word thing, talk about a pain!!! What’s new you ask, not much except it is hotter than all get out in my world. Yes I know your thinking will then stay inside in the air conditioning and that makes sense but you see I am a want a be Artist and do a lot of Oil Painting. Yes I know you are thinking so paint in the house but you see I can’t because I have a Parrot (Echo) and the fumes from my pastime could kill my baby, so I paint on my deck. Temp on my deck yesterday was 109 degrees, to hot for my pastime. Guess I could do something exciting like clean my house but what fun is that? Ok world goodnight.

Just a test!

Had my free maintenance inspection today on my heating and cooling system. Why is it that something that is suppose to be free always ends up costing you something? They always find something wrong, something that needs fixing but I guess if you think about when you live some place that the temperature can get as high as it dose here, it’s 101 already , you want to be sure that your heating and cooling system works right. WOW 101 and it is only June, just wait till August! Guess that is why the inspection is so important because August is coming.

Wow, what a beautiful night it’s 86 degrees outside and not a Mosquito in sight! Not having Mosquitoes around is one of the many things I love about this wonderful dry weather we have in Arizona. No Mosquitoes allows me to set on my deck after it gets dark and watch the wonderful night sky without being eaten alive,which I am going to do now. Talking about Mosquitoes makes me think of my new favorite commercial, the one with the Dog looking over the fence saying “No Muskie Toes” just love that commercial. Later guys!

OK, so who sweeps all the dead bugs up in her Art Shop so that when the Pest man comes out to spray and make more dead bugs dosn’t step on dead bugs? That would be me and that just shows you how long it’s been since I have used the Art Shop, you see when you live by yourself you don’t have to worry about your stuff laying around because no one has to look at it but you. Don’t spend a whole lot of time in my Art Shop,so therefor the sweeping of the dead bugs. Gees couldn’t have the Bug Man stepping on all those dead bugs! Yes, it is me and I don’t understand why it is that every time I want to write on this Blog it becomes such a big chore but after several attempts and of course a new Pass Word I am up and running. So what’s new not much, oh I did run into a Mohave Green Rattle Snake in my yard yesterday, talk about putting the fear of God in you! Did not have a loaded gun so I thought I’ll just take this shovel I keep on my deck to chop off the heads of snakes I see crawling around my deck and stairs but then of course I wasn’t on my deck and the shovel was so I went and got the shovel but then by that time he had spotted me and did his little rattle thing to let me know he had spotted me and being the smart person I am I said it’s your world and headed for the house. Was telling a friend about it today and told her the whole experience made me want to move back to Michigan but then what the heck not any safer there they have Rattler Snakes there also. So I guess the whole point is to watch out for your friendly Wild Life and watch where your walking!!! Miss my Road Runner while he was around didn’t have snakes! Oh well till next time. good Night!

Not much going on, trying to get well, been sick for the last few weeks but I think I am on the road to recovery. Like they say I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel we can only hope it’s not a train! Even felt well enough to go to Wi Bowling tonight, had fun but no matter how hard I try I don’t believe I will ever be a great Wi Bowler, it’s pretty bad when you feel obligated to apologize to your partner before you start playing. Oh well, that’s life as they say.

My Daughter got married the end of March but of course I got sick and missed the whole thing. She and her new husband got married in Nevada at the Mt. Charleston Lodge. They flew all the way from Florida to Las Vegas to get married and what do I do I catch the Flu, I am sorry Hope, you have no idea how bad I feel. Just want to tell you how much I love you and Stan and to wish you both all the happiness in the world!

Same old stuff, nothing to get excited about. Played Bingo today, won once had to split the pot so didn’t even come close to breaking even. You know it’s like my husband always use to say “Some day my ship will come in but with my luck I’ll be at the Airport”. Like I said nothing new and exciting, so I don’t have anything write about. Will just say goodnight.
