Sarah’s play was an outstanding success and played to a sold out audience ( except for the extra tickets my son bought for a certain Queen and her following, which will remain nameless). Now if I must say so myself, Sarah was a standout!!!! She was very good and never missed a cue, next time you see ask her to do her Dutch accent. She was perfect Princess Gretta. Look out world here comes Sarah!!!!!!

For those interested, Boris is alive and well and as predicted at 1:30 last night my son and I did the “Hello Boris are you in there” to his shell! Then my son being a modern computer guru goggled tortoises and he ended up on Russian Tortoises.org and guess what Boris has a new and bigger tank (because they said he needed a bigger one) another heat light because ,well we needed one. We got the bigger tank because Boris needed a bigger water bowl because he needs to drink (which they seldom do), bath and use it as a outhouse all at the same time ( go figure) and his old tank was to small for a water bowl of that size. So Boris has a new larger home my son has lighter wallet but Boris is happy and in a kids world that is all that matters. Right.

So I am in a quandary, I could not decide where to post this, in my grandchildren or in my zoo. You see Sarah is going to be in a play tomorrow (her first acting job?, I question the first acting job thing) because my beautiful Sarah can spend hours looking in the mirror. Making faces at her self, posing, singing, talking to her self so you see she has plenty of experience. My son is taking her to her Mothers to spend the night so her Mom can have the joy of helping her get ready for the part tomorrow. Drum roll!!!!!! I have been ask to baby sit Boris The Tortoise, my favorite instruction is if he dose not move for a few hours I should pick him up and look in his shell and say “Hello are you in there?” ( you get the jest of the whole thing). My only hope for tonight is that Boris sleep safe and sound and that Sarah is a great success tomorrow! She plays a Dutch Princess and even sings (we might be looking at another Hanna Montana), good luck baby and you will always be my Princess and don’t worry about Boris! Love You.
My Princess, in one of her many acting job. Brake A Leg Baby!!!!!!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, and is not raining. Feels like it always rains in my Michigan neighborhood, while it never rains in my Arizona neighborhood(well almost never). Anyway it is a beautiful day and my Granddaughter is fixing breakfast(with some slight help from her father), what a nice way to start the day.So if the rest of the day is as good as the start, it will be swell.

Well I made it, it was a very long night with very little sleep. See I could blame it on the Zoo but in fact I have some very strange sleeping habits and last night was a dilly. During one of my many wakeful period I decided to check on Boris. Holy crap I had the bejeezit scared out of me. Now I don’t know a lot about tortoises and their sleeping habits might be as strange as mine but he sure looked dead to me. Now one would assume (and you know what those letters stand for) that when a tortoise sleeps he would pull his head in his shell when he was asleep. Nope, his head was all the way out and laying on the bottom of his tank. You see when my son bought Boris for Sarah he said give it a week and it will probably be dead, will at 4:30 he looked dead to me, so I say boy you didn’t even last a day and turn off the light. WOW!! Poor Sarah I think, I felt so bad for her so I think maybe I should take him out of the tank so she won’t see him first thing she wakes up. So I turn the light back on, he picks up his head looks at me as if to say are you nuts or something and then lay it back down. Anyways the whole point of this story is, what they say about judging a book by it’s cover is true. Boris is alive and well and I am still sleepless.

Nameless is no longer nameless , so meet Boris The Tortoise. Watch out, you never know, tomorrow Boris might be somebody else. Kinda sad really, I sort of liked Nameless. Stay tuned I will keep you posted, can’t wait to see what kind of a roommate he is going to be. Chances are that I won’t even notice (whats one more creature), what with Sarah, my two dogs and Peanut my sons new puppy all in there, it could be a long night. Tune in tomorrow!

You should know that I have a Zoo, but you should also know that my Zoo includes any animal that invades my world, such as snakes, lizards, wild birds, Bobcats, you get the picture. So meet Nameless, a Russian Tortoise, my Granddaughter Sarah’s new pet and my new roommate. Lets hope he is not a night owl, right now he is stuck in the corner of his tank, trying to remove the glass with his head. Lets hope he figures this out soon or he will be a flat nose Russian Tortoise. He is nameless because Sarah can not figure out a name for him, maybe she will name him after me, which would be a first. Oh, no my friend JoAnn named her bird after me, but then I did buy Charlie for her birthday.
So meet Nameless

My Grand-kids are staying for the week and we are comparing blogs. Until a few days ago a blog was something that frogs lived in (oh that’s bogs). So who’s blog is the best, I’ll not go down that path, but I will say this, being out blogged by your 9 year Granddaughter leaves a lot to be desired. Still I am having a hard time understanding this blog thing when we are sitting across the table from each other and blogging to each other. Oh well, like the new high tech age I have jumped into with both feet look out blog world here I come.

Just a update, played my first Bookworm game on my new laptop 327,010. Looks like at this rate it will be awhile before I see Bookworm Supreme again. Oh well, better luck next time.

So my laptop is on it’s last leg and since I am now a member of this new high tech world, I decided to spurge and buy a new laptop. So with my trusty credit card (another time, another story) in hand I check out the many shinny laptops to chose from, after much time and effort I am the proud owner of a new Sonny(no bologna) laptop and a couple of games. Heaven forbid that I have nothing to install on my new Sonny! Oh and a new carrying case, a sleeve for computer to go in before you can put in the carrying case, you get the picture!! Still even though I am happy with the new computer, I have a problem. You see I am a bookworm freak, play it all the time ( for those of you who don’t play it I recommend it highly) but back to my problem. When I transferred my stuff ( pardon that high tech language) my scores from all the hours and hours of playing did not transfer. Knowing that all my friends and family will have no doubts about my high score, I still have the need to post the following.
As you can see 1,630,730 Bookworm Supreme.
