I am hooked! Yes it is sad to say but the computer game demon has got a big hold on me. I never thought I was the addictive type but I think I was wrong. Well now if I must be honest with everybody and myself, there might have been some small indicators every now and then. Like for instance when I learned I had some small talent as an artist and bought every type of art supply I could lay my hands on or when I fell in love with jewelry making, I now own every kind of bead made and every thing it takes to make any kind of jewelry. Oh no, had no idea I had an addictive personalty even when I realized I owned more Rubber Stamps than most Stamp Stores have and lets not forget the card making supplies! Still, I was blind to the additive monster, until the Computer Game Bug bit me! WOW, am I hooked in a bad way, it all started with Book Worm. Love that game played it all the time and even had a very nice high score but then my sister discovered it, now I won’t say there is a revel thing but needless to say after she reached the sicking score of 10 million why bother, so as you may guess I no longer have this thing for Book Worm. Then I found Cradle Of Rome wow was I hooked, I was so hooked the I told every friend I have in this small little place I live about it and guess what they are all playing it but alas I have finished it so I have moved on to hidden object games but maybe there is hope for me after all. You see I had a chance to go to Vegas tonight and said no and nothing is more addictive than gambling. Oh well got to go and play on my computer. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose and no matter what happens playing my computer game I won’t lose a cent.

So it has been a while, I know I am so interesting and you wait with baited breath for each post that now there is a big guilt cloud hanging over my head. Now I feel compelled to explain my actions, I have a new addiction. Believe me this is not an easy thing to admit to but I am addicted to ATC. For those of you who don’t know what they are, they are 2.50 by 3.50 cards that you spend all your time trying to make them special enough so that you can give them away! Then you set and wait for someone to send you one. Go figure! Good thing is that during all this madness I have made a new friend, she also is drowning in ATC’s so we have a lot to talk about. Now I don’t want you to think that this is all I do, for it is not I have managed to get all my xmas shopping done, wrapped and mailed out, be artist of the month at our local library which consumes three days a week, been to several Christmas parties, played Bunko one night and still managed to play Bingo two times a week leaving only one thing left to do. So if you don’t receive a Christmas card this year it isn’t because I broke my knees again, it is because I am still trying to fit addressing cards in to this thing called Life! So how your December going? Just for fun one of my ATC.

So it is 12:17am and I have decided that we need to add a few more hours to the day and just maybe I might be able to do every thing that I think should be done. Now you might ask how an old lady like myself can not find enough hours in the day to do everything needed doing. Don’t ask me, I just know it to be a fact. Saturday was the big craft show that I worked tirelessly to get ready for and talk about 6 wasted hours. Slow is not the word to describe the day, needless to say it was not the best money making days I have had but it is over. Sunday I went shopping in Vegas, that was fun but I think I spent more on myself than Christmas gifts. Today was Monday and that is card making day with my friends, then when I got home I made Artist Trading Cards, tomorrow starts my month at the Library as artist of the month, tomorrow night is Bingo, Wednesday doctor appointment in Kingman on and on it’s goes. So you see we all could use a few more hours in the day. Speaking of Artist Trading Cards, I got my first card today, from Washington State. Should receive three from Finland and one from London and I think that is exciting and I have some coming from a couple of states. Maybe if I spent less time in front of the computer,no forget that I vote for the extra hours. Bookworm and Jewel Quest are more important than sleeping, somebody has to achieve those high scores and it might well be me.

Today was a wonderful day in my world, I spent the afternoon with a bunch of my friends and family learning to make something called a Zetti Artist Trading Card. As you know my sister Connie has my whole family hooked on making Artist Trading Cards, so today my friend JoAnn and I drove down to Allen Park to my sister in law Gwen’s place of business. Gwen had invited us to her day care center (Teddy Bear Day Care) for lunch and my sister Connie was going to teach us how to make these new kind of cards called Zetti, now I have still not figured out what that means but needless to say I had fun. Now I have never known my friend JoAnn to be on time in the twenty six years I have known and she didn’t let me down today ( but I still love her to death) so we were about 45 minutes late. Remember Gwen own a day care center, so when we walked in, all these adults are setting at tables in these tinny little chairs. You talk about a sight, I still have to grin when I think about all those grown up little kids having all that fun with all that paper and glue and stuff. We all had a blast, Connie is a great teacher and I know we all appreciated her bringing all her stuff and letting us use what ever we needed, thanks Sis. JoAnn and I topped off the evening by having dinner with a couple of old friends at Applebees, good food and good friends. Thanks to all who my this a special day for me, I will miss you all very much but I will be back next summer and JoAnn I will see you in Arizona. Below is my cards I made today, the cowboy one I just was not happy with something just did not set right with me so I changed the Pumpkin to the grave stone what do you think, better?
Excuse the quality of the photos my little point and shoot sometimes lets me down.

Every body knows that I love the art of rubber stamping and have been doing it for years, you also probably know that The House Mouse rubber stamps are without a doubt my favorite stamps. Now every time I buy a stamp I say to my self, “Self” you do not need any more rubber stamps and then I am really good for about 40 seconds ( you know those abdications, can’t help it, got to have it, everybody else has it, I could borrow it no I hate borrowing cause everybody says I hate when she borrows stuff if she wants to make a card using it she should buy it, you get the idea) so as you can guess I bought a few stamps this summer. So to justfie buying more stamps I present to you my latest hand made card . You could do an Easter card but in my heart of hearts I know it is a new baby card and I know someone who is having a baby. Now if I can only find a good reason for buying the rest of the stamps. Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Told you it was an addiction, the Artist Trading cards I mean, I only needed to make two to give back to my sister Connie but of course anyone that knows me knows that I have reached double digits by now and still going. Just for fun I thought I would show you a couple of them but mostly I am sending them to my Stamping Group. Hope you enjoy them.

A few weeks ago one of my sister (you remember I have five) Connie gave me an Artist Trading Card and informed me that I had to return the favor (in fact she gave me two, my daughter one, and Sarah my granddaughter one) so the next day I set out to do as requested. Until that night I had no idea that such a thing existed and since I am staying at my son’s place I have nothing to craft with ( almost nothing!!) so off to Michale’s we go. Now my Granddaughter takes after her Grandma and has some talent when it comes to drawing, so we decided she could draw something for her card. Then there is Hope whom the artistic gen jumped right over, she is in to peace signs, so she is doing one with peace things on it. As for myself I am undecided, so I will wait. After spending an undisclosed amount of money we head for home. Hope has a date with a friend that night so Sarah and I set to work. Now Sarah is very talented and she draws her bird and we make her card (which turned out very nice). Now about this time Hope comes home and wants to make her card, I do not know if I have told you about my sons new puppy, she is seven months old and loves to chew (need I say more) and some how she got hold of Hope’s rhinestone peace things and she had rhinestones all over the floor. Now you see Hope is headed back to Florida the next day and Michales is closed so every one is on the floor picking up these tiny things as Hope glues them one by one on the card to make a peace sign. Any way I have now made my Artist Trading Cards. I thought maybe you would like to see what a ATC looks like, the first two my sister made (the cute baby is yours truly). Second two I made.
