There is luck and then there is LUCK, so as you may of guessed this is about Bingo. Well not really about Bingo, but about luck. Now I have these really special friends who would do anything for me so I tend to take advantage of them, I don’t mean to but it just happens. For instance I have this really bad problem sleeping and so I tend to fall asleep driving ( I can fall asleep talking to you, but that is another story) and as you may or may not know I live pretty far from everything so it kind of makes it hard to go to Doctors and stuff like that so that puts a burden on my friends who have to make sure I don’t set behind the wheel of a car for more that fifteen minutes or so and fall asleep. Which would be really bad luck!! Now that brings me back to my friends Connie and Chuck who if they know I have to be some where they are going to take me, now I know you are thinking what dose this have to do with Bingo. Well I am going to tell you, you see they like to play Bingo and every time we go to Las Vegas we end up playing Bingo at the Casino. Do I win? Nope but them they don’t either. There could be 20 or 25 people playing (counting us) and do we win, nope!!! Now for some reason we tend to go to the same Casino and if you go enough you get to know people that also play and then you get paranoid, like they are talking about you. Like look there are those poor people who come all the time but never win and then you get mad at people because they win all the time but you don’t and you want to get up and punch them in the nose but you can’t cause you are a lady so you just give them nasty looks! Still we keep going back and not winning, that is what I mean by luck and not having any and then there is LUCK which I have a lot of and I have to tell myself this when I don’t win playing Bingo. For instance I am no spring chicken and still can enjoy life ( which I do), I am the oldest of ten (10) children and we are all still around, I have two wonderful children and five beautiful grandchildren. So you see I am very LUCKY except things like Bingo which I don’t tend to be the luckiest at, except that may be changing, won three times tonight at our local bingo. Should know better tomorrow because my friend Chuck who’s wife Connie is in Canada is still picking me up at 6:30am and driving me to Vegas because I have a Doctors appointment at 9:00am and the chances are pretty good we will do the Bingo thing. Even if I don’t win I am still very luck to have such great friends.

Yes, it is I. You must know that I first typed me but I know that there is somebody in this world that would correct my English. Yes world it is I and I know you must be wondering where I have been, (there must be somebody that is wondering) well I have not been on some world tour or a cruise around the world (dose sound like fun) no I have been in my own little world. Could tell you about all my health and other problems but then if you listened to my problems then I would have to listen to all of yours and that could take a real, real long time, so lest don’t go there.
Since I talked to you I have a new Grandson, he is a doll. Yes I know us Grandmas all think that but in this case it is true. I know, I know, you think I am being just another Grandma but believe me when you see his picture you will have to agree. Not only is he beautiful he smart, he is only 10 months old but he is walking and talking, that is the great thing about being a Grandma, Mom and Dad have to chase him around and keep him out of trouble. (ha like that is going to happen, look out trouble here comes Gus)
I’ll be going back to Michigan in two weeks for the summer and will get to spend time with Gus and his brother and sister, Sarah and Billy. Looking forward to seeing them, my Son, his Wife and my nine (9) brothers and sisters and all their kids and all their kids and so on. Trust me it makes for a big family a very big family.
I have so much to talk about but I think I will save that all for another time. Check out Gus, the newest member of my clan.

Not having any more!!!! So I just had a birthday the end of March, I am not telling you how old I am. Oh I could tell you but then I would have to kill you because like I said before I am done with them, birthdays that is. Ever notice when you were young birthdays were fun and you couldn’t wait till it was your birthday. Well let me tell you those days have long passed, I don’t want to think about them, don’t want to talk about them and for sure don’t want to have anymore. Oh, I am not saying I didn’t have fun on my birthday, I did, spent it in Vegas with my friends and family. Anybody that know my family knows we had a blast, drank to much, ate way to much food and lost way to much money but I didn’t get my tattoo. I always said that when I turned ____ I was going to get one. Chickened out and got a toe ring instead Anyways maybe next year when my birthday dose not come I will, but for now I love my toe ring.

WOW, am I pooped, I have decided that the holidays are for the young at heart and also the young period! Now I know it is late to be putting your decorations away but my husband loved the holidays and we would put all that stuff out in November and he didn’t want it to be taken down until sometime in the summer, no I exaggerate but he would make me leave it up till February, so I still can’t seem to get it put away any sooner. Now I don’t want to blame this entirely on my late husband, I think it might have something to do with my age. Why not, I blame everything else on old age, now I am not saying how old I am but like they say I am not only ” Over The Hill” but I am down in the valley and started up the other side. Believe me if I could have left them up till next Christmas I would have but I live in a very small town and they have already started talking about me and my decorations and besides my brother and his wife are flying in on Saturday and the next thing I know they would be talking about me and my decoration in Michigan. So every thing is boxed up and waiting to be taken down to the garage and that is another story, oh well maybe I’ll hire somebody to do it. You know it is a good thing all the other holidays don’t call for all these decorations because they would be a lot less celebrating in my house! Hope your holidays were great.

Why is it that if you were teenager in the 50’s and listened to the music of that era you can’t get it out of your blood? It’s like as soon as you hear Doo Wop or Rock & Roll you are 16 again, in 1955 when Elvis came gyrating on the Rock & Roll scene I was 14, Rock & Roll would never be the same and neither would I, I was sure that someday I would meet him and we would live happily ever after. Didn’t happen, but I survived like every other teenager who had the same dreams. Like everyone who was a teenager during that time when you hear almost any song from that time you can remember those special times when you knew that this guy was the love of your life and you would always be together or just as likely you knew you could not make it though one more day because your heart was broken and life would never be the same and of course if you had that special someone you had your very own song. Funny I wonder how many songs reminds you of some boy or girl whom you thought was the one, I know I have a few and when I hear them I smile and wonder how that person is and if they ever think of me and that makes me happy but when I hear Sea Of Love I am sad. Sea Of Love was my husband and my song. His birthday is coming up which is always a hard time for me. So when I hear it I feel sad and then I play some of the great songs that we had so much fun listing to. Right now I am listing to Maybellene and we are Drag Racing with some car down Woodward Ave. and I feel great! Oh about you?

So my test worked and I am back in business. So let me tell you how much I don’t like days like today! It’s pay bills day, now I don’t know about you but this is not a fun day! Why you might ask or maybe not but I am going to tell you anyway. See the thing is that I keep paying these bills but they just keep sending them back and I pay them again and so starts the vicious circle again. Payday comes I run and pay the bills, spend the rest of the day being a crump . Now the good thing about today is I know that tomorrow is going to better, no bills but no money either (vicious circle) . You see tomorrow is Thursday ( I know this because I get paid on a Wednesday) and I work at our local Library. So you see that makes me happy I get to play with the kids and read to them and find books for people and all that good stuff and that makes me happy but what really makes me happy is no bills ah but alas no money either but there is always next payday to look forward to. Right? So hows your day going?

Yes, I am still alive and kicking and yes I am bad for not updating my Blog, but gee whiz the harder I try to catch up the further behind I get. So give a girl a brake already! Now that’s out of the way on to the Blog! So can you believe that March is almost over and the big day is creeping up on us, I am talking about TAX DAY!!! Lord have mercy I swear I just mailed them thing a few weeks ago. Is it me or is the time just flying by, remember when you were a kid and were waiting for Christmas and Santa. Holy cow it took for ever and now, well there is just not enough time to do every thing you should and pretty soon summer will be here and gone and we can start waiting for Santa again and I know he was just here last month. Go figure! I am going to be celebrating a birthday on Friday and no I am not going to tell you how old I am or how fast I got that old. My oldest Grandchild is looking at collages and man I haven’t the foggiest idea how she got that old when only yesterday her Mother was playing with dolls, you see in my mind I still feel eighteen but my body says who do you think you are kidding. Yes I know, old age is not an excuse for being one step behind everybody else but it is a good reason for forgetting to update my Blog!!! Till next time.

So who knew that there is a surge protector for your whole house! Yea, Yea I know you are going to say this poor dumb bimbo just got taken for a ride. Thing is you have to hear me out. About three weeks ago it got very very cold in our sunny Arizona and about three in the morning the dogs decided they needed to go out ( they have no respect for an old ladies sleep). Now I am standing outside in the cold and it was COLD and I am looking around while they play blood hounds and smell every inch of ground and I see Smoke. Now I run over to see where the smoke is coming from and it is coming out of my heat pump (my new heat pump I might add), so now here is this crazy lady in her pajamas with two dogs looking at her like she had lost her mind having a heart attack. As I stand there staring at the smoke pouring out of my new heat pump, I realize it is not smoke but steam. Water is running out the bottom and steam is pouring out the top but the good news is the house is not on fire. So the next day which is New Years Eve by the way I call the company that installed the thing and tell the man who answers the phone about my experience and say to him that is not normal is it and he says I wouldn’t think so. So we set up an appointment on New Years Eve mind you. So now I am waiting for the guy to show up and some lady calls me and says you have a heat pump, I say yes I know I told the man I talked to that, she says it perfectly normal for heat pumps to do that in cold weather so then I say well why didn’t the man I talked to tell me that? She says and I quote” he is just the answering service” and I say and I quote ” well jeez lady you should get and answering service that know something about heating and cooling” then she says do you still want someone to come out and I say well not if it is normal and she says well most of the time it is!!! So I figure I better have it checked out but not at triple time or whatever they make on holidays. Anyway when the guy comes out to check it out he tells me there is no surge protector on the unit and if you live in Meadview you need surge protector on every thing. Ask me about my TV sometime!!! Then he says for x amount of dollars we can put one on but for a couple of hundred more we can put a box between your house and the electrical box out side. Warranty will pay up to $20,000. so I am surge protected! Just think it is only the second week of the new year and all this has happened, can’t wait till the end of the month. I’ll keep you posted.

Ok, so it’s the new year and I know that we are all suppose to start the New Year off with a new outlook on every thing and I did. Problem is that it is only the end of the first week and I have already broken all those promises I made last year. Like get my life in order, clean my closet (god I hate that one), spend less time on the computer, spend less money and save more money, finish Jewel Quest 3 ( never did finish Jewel Quest 2), beat my sisters Bookworm score ( like that’s ever going to happen) and of course the one we all say every year Lose Weight and get healthy. Now let me see I did finish Jewel Quest 3 last night, no bells or whistles, just done, I been playing this stupid game for over a year I expected fire works or something. So what am I going to do all night when I can’t sleep, cant fight with Jewel Quest anymore. Spend less time on the computer, it’s 2:20am and I am still on the computer. Spend less money, only cause I have less to spend, lose weight, well you know how that goes. That leaves the closet and you know I might need those smaller size cloth when I lose all that weight and I will get my life in order just as soon as I beat Connie’s Bookworm score. So hows your New Year Going?

Whatever part of the country you live in I would guess that it is now 2010! To say it has been a long year is an understatement!! Starting off a new year in the hospital is not fun and I am sure there are worse places but right now I don’t even care to think about them. So lets see 15 day in the hospital, knee surgery, 6 weeks in a wheel chair, 6 or 8 weeks on a walker (can’t remember which) months on a cane but I am happy to say I am without chair, walker or cane as I start this new year, so yea!!!!!! So you can all probably guess what my New Years resolution is ,Don’t Fall Down Again!!!! I would love to know all of your resolutions but no matter what they are one thing I hope for all, is the best year yet. Enjoy your self and stay safe.
